Sherman headed the Public Affairs office for the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Denver and other law enforcement agencies in Colorado. Before that, she was an Emmy Award-winning investigative reporter for NBC, CBS, ABC and Fox TV News stations around the country. She last worked as the chief investigative reporter for 9NEWS (NBC News) in Denver.
She's been honored with 13 Emmys, three Edward R. Murrow Awards, and dozens of other accolades for her investigative journalism. In 2010, Sherman co-founded the nonprofit KidsGiving365.org. and served as board president and marketing chair.
